Some of the overlooked sites within or near Tsuen Wan include the following places of interest:

The Sam Tung Uk Museum
Located a few minutes away from the Tsuen Wan MTR station, the museum is a restored Hakka walled village built in the 18th century by members of a farming family, the Chan clan. Tile-roofed homes restored to their original condition, along with an ancestral hall, side houses, an exhibition hall depicting Tsuen Wan's history and a
landscaped garden comprise the village. Once home to about 300 clan members, and later abandoned in 1980, this Hakka village looks as it would have looked then showing traditional Chinese furniture, farm implements, and other articles of daily life.

The Sam Tung Uk Museum is open Wednesdays to Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Admission is free.


Asia World Expo
Hong Kong's newest world-class exhibition and event venue offering 70,000 sq. meters of rentable space, the Asia World Expo is part of the SkyCity complex developed by the Hong Kong International Airport Authority. It is located one minute away from the international airport and is at the centre of an extensive transport network. Take Tsuen Wan MTR and transfer to Tung Chung line in Lai King station. Take Tung Chung line to Tsing Yi where you can board the Tsing Yi Airport Expressway to go to Asia World Expo. Total traveling time: 20 minutes.
Central/Tsim Sha Tsui
Central on Hong Kong Island and Tsim Sha Tsui on Kowloon are the city's most glamorous districts for business, shopping, dining and entertainment. Both can be accessed on the Tsuen Wan MTR line. Total traveling time: 20 minutes.


Hong Kong Disneyland
The place that gave the world "enchanted realms of fantasy and adventure, yesterday and tomorrow" has made Penny's Bay on Lantau Island its home in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Disneyland, the 5th Magic Kingdom style park in the world, can be easily accessed from hotel. Take hotel shuttle bus to the Tung Chung line at Tsing Yi Station, where you can board a Disneyland Resort Line to the park. Total traveling time from Hotel : 20 minutes. Ngong Ping SkyRail
Ngong Ping is a 5.7-kilometer cable car journey traveling between Tung Chung town and Ngong Ping on Lantau Island. It offers spectacular views of the South China Sea, the North Lantau Country Park, and a112 ft. tall bronze statue of Buddha. Take hotel shuttle bus to Tsing Yi Station for Tung Chung line. The Ngong Ping Skyrail Terminal is a two-minute walk from the Tung Chung station. Total traveling time: 25 minutes.
