Food Hygiene and Safety Measures

In view of suspected cross-contamination with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli cases that have raised public concern, ensuring the safety of our guests remains our highest priority at Royal Hotels. To uphold our stringent hygiene standards from sourcing raw materials to food preparation and service, we have implemented a series of measures as below:

1. Require suppliers to provide Health Certificates for every batch of high-risk foods.
2. Monitor food storage temperatures to ensure that ingredients are kept within the appropriate temperature range.
3. Thoroughly wash and sanitize the vegetables and fruits with a food-grade sanitizer before serving them to guests in salads.
4. Ensure that all the hot food is cooked to the appropriate core temperature.
5. Strengthen and provide personal protective equipment for staff, such as disposable gloves.
6. Increase the frequency of cleaning and disinfection services in public areas.
